Eagle in Flight

This image is of an Eagle in flight over Lake Ontario near Oshawa. We don't see many eagles in Oshawa and this one was extracted from a royalty free image I had on hand — presumably, originally captured somewhere in the United States. This image is actually comprised of four separate images processed in Aperture 3, Photoshop 5.1 and filters added via Intensify Pro.

One of My Recent Photoshop Projects

Entitled 'Spirits of the Pier" the full view can be seen at

This is a compilation of seven different images, all processed with Aperture 3 and two receiving additional processing with Photomatix Pro. Once the different elements had been merged the way I liked, the image was exported and run through Perfect Effects 8. That's obviously the real quick run down. Start to finish was about five hours.

Logitech Gaming Keyboard Perfect Photoshop Companion

Here's an excellent video from Drew Brashler explaining how the Logitech G13 Gaming Keyboard can save a photographer time in processing images. Personally, I'm excited to give it a go with InDesign and a few other apps as well. I'll use it with Aperture 3 although I am contemplating the switch to Lightroom.

Regardless, Logitech should pay Drew for such a fabulous review.
